Albright voices concern, Israeli Cabinet approves evasive West Bank withdrawal plan, with conditions

US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright has expressed fear that US interests will be harmed in the Middle East region due to the halt of the peace process and the stalemate of negotiations between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
The Israeli daily Yedeot Ahronot unveiled a message addressed by Albright to the heads of Jewish communities in the US in which she said the failure of making progress in the peace process will negatively reflect on US interests in the region.
