Arrests in the murder of German-Algerian

The Algerian security authority arrested two individuals who were suspected of killings a German-Algerian citizen last Friday.
The two individuals who were described as criminals went secretly to the house of Mohamed El Amin Hofman, age 70, on Friday night where they hanged him in front of his wife and stole 20 thousands Dinars. The two men were arrested 24 hours after the crime.
Hofman had been in the town of Ein El Hegr in Seida state since 1961, when he announced his conversion to Islam and married an Algerian woman. Hofman arrived in Algeria with the French Foreign Legion in 1952 and later joined the liberation revolution.
