Hanan Ashrawi declares peace near collapse

Leading Palestinian spokeswoman Hanan Ashrawy said yesterday the Palestinian-Israeli peace process faces the threat of total collapse.
Offering a bleak prognosis, the higher education minister for the Palestinian authority said, "Nobody is seeing light at end of the tunnel."
Ashrawi said that Netanyahu's administration displayed "an attitude of domination, dictation, coercion, intimidation, even blackmail" and accused it of defying not just the Palestinians but also international community, Al Ahram daily said today.
