Tunisia gets loan to improve tourism

The African Development Bank stated that it approved giving Tunisia a loan of 136.5 million dollars. This loan comes as a credit line for tourism development.
The loan will be used to increase the capacity of 40 hotels and develop the current tourist attractions in Tunisia. The Tourism Development National Bank can also use the credit line in financing new entertainment buildings.
The African Development Bank indicated that the payback period for the loan is 14 years, with the interest rate to be determined by whether the loan will be based on fixed or variable rate.
