Yemen - Egypt to activate social work

Yemeni Minister of Social Affairs, Mohammed Abulla Batani, arrived in Cairo yesterday leading a high-ranking delegation on an official visit to Egypt.
The Yemeni official will head his country's delegation to the meetings of the 17th session of the Arab council for ministers of social affairs, scheduled to open tomorrow at the Arab League in Cairo.
The 3-day meetings will deal with the agenda of the council's executive office regarding Arab social work and means of developing it in light of the current global changes.
The meetings will also highlight the current status of the Arab fund for social work, means of activating it, and possibility of its participation in carrying out giant Arab social projects, Al Ahrar daily said today.
