King Fahd discusses bilateral relations with Mandela

Saudi Arabia's King Fahd has discussed with South African President Nelson Mandela means of strengthening bilateral relations and global development.
Within the same context, Mandela also held formal talks with Saudi Defense Minister Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, who also met with South Africa's Defense Minister, Joe Modise, and reached with him a memorandum of understanding in the sector of defense.
In statements to Saudi dailies, Mandela noted Israel's intransigent policies and called upon the peace process co-sponsors and the European Union to work for establishing just and durable peace in the Middle East.
