Palestinian Ziad Kamel who is suspected of being involved in several deadly attacks in Israel was arrested by Israeli police, Fox News reported. Go

Palestine has decided to allow some Israeli products which had been barred from the self-rule areas into the West Bank and Gaza Strip, the Nando Times reported. The products were not named, the report said. Palestine applied the measures in reponse to Israeli economic sanctions imposed last summer after a suicide bombing in Jerusalem. Go

Amnesty International called on the United Nations to investigate massacres in Algeria, accusing the Algerian government of complicity in the attacks, Fox News reported. Go

Palestine and Israel are meeting for secret final status negations for the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, the Nando Times reported a Lebanese newspaper as saying. Go

Qatar has given illegal residents six months, starting tomorrow (through May 20), to get their legal status in order or leave the country, Gulf Times reported. Qatar's initiative echoes efforts already underway in other Gulf countries to clear out those who have overstayed their visas. Go
