British weapons sales to Gulf states reach $3.5 billion

A military official from a Gulf state affirmed that Gulf Cooperation Council states account for 43% of British military exports.
He informed ArabicNews.com that the volume of British weapons sales to the Gulf states reached $3.5 billion of a total amount of $8.1 billion.
The United Kingdom is considered the second of major exporter of military weapons to the Gulf states after the US which exports a volume reached $4 billion dollars out of $10.3 billion dollars. France is the third country as it exports military exports about $3.3 billion.
The United Kingdom is trying to keep the same volume of military exports to the Gulf states for the current year.
