Gulf ministers of interior discuss terrorism and extremism

The Ministers of Interior of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries (GCC) will start their 16th meeting on November 22-23 in Doha which will be chaired by the Qatari Minister of Interior.
The ministers will discuss means of strengthening cooperation in the security field, especially in the issues of combating terrorism, crime and drugs. The ministers will discuss the recommendations made during their previous meetings last week which dealt with facilitating the procedures for the movement of citizens and cargo among the six GCC countries and also facilitating customs procedures at the ports.
The Ministers of Interiors are also expected to discuss the cooperation to combat organized crime and protect the security of the Gulf region.
