Arab common market conference, November 25 in Egypt

An economic committee will hold its annual meeting in Cairo to discuss establishing an Arab common market and the future of the Arab economy. The meeting will be opened by Dr. Mofid Shehab, minister of scientific research, on November 25.
The two-day gathering organized by Assiut University's Future Studies Centers, will discuss 70 research papers on ways of boosting pan-Arab cooperation and the challenges facing the Arab nation on the economic level as well as the politicians' role in actuating the joint Arab action, said Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Mansour, the center's director.
The president's political advisor Dr. Usman Al-Baz, and Dr. Hassan Ibrahim, the secretary general of the Arab economic unity council, will be among those to attend the conference, Al Akhbar daily said today.
