Meetings of Egyptian-Turkish committee in Ankara postponed

The 7th round of the meetings between the joint Egyptian-Turkish Committee was postponed to an undetermined date. The meetings were supposed to be held between 19-21 November.
The press official at the Turkish Embassy in Cairo stated that the Egyptian government informed the Turkish government of the postponement at the beginning of November. He added that the Turkish side is studying other dates to suggest to the Egyptian side.
The committee was supposed to discuss means of boosting the trade exchange in order to reach $2 billion in addition to increasing the volume of investment and increasing private sector cooperation between the two countries.
Previous meetings were held during the government of Arbekan, which tried to strengthen Turkish's economic and commercial ties with the Arab and Islamic countries.
