Sudan, Politics, 11/13/1997
President Omar Bashir of Sudan plans a thaw in his country's Arab ties, particularly with Egypt, said a Sudanese minister.
In an interview with the Sudanese paper "Akhbar El You" published yesterday, Ali Osman Taha, Sudan's foreign relations minister, said that more contacts would be made after a recent visit by Sudan's first vice president to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Al Khartoum daily said today.
"When we speak on clearing up and developing relations with Egypt, certainly all their concerns will come under discussion, and all parties will try to reach that which is reasonable, and practical," said Taha.
