Sudanese ministerial reshuffle

Well-informed sources in Sudan said that a ministerial reshuffle is expected in Sudan which will be announced during the third week of the current month.
The sources confirmed that the most distinct feature of the reshuffle is merging the Ministry of Presidential Affairs with the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs into one ministry that will also include the Ministry of Relations of the Confederation.
The sources added that the reshuffle will also affect the Ministry of Interior, as Brigadier Bakry Hassan Saleh will be sacked while the Ministry of Finance will have a change at the request of its current minister, Abdel Wahab Osman, who had earlier submitted his resignation due to his health condition. The Ministry of Finance is expected to be entrusted to one of two state ministers: Dr. Saber Mohamed Hassan or Al Din Ibrahim.
As for the irrigation portfolio which has been vacant since its former minister, Dr. Yacoub Abu Shoura, was selected as governor of Sanar, this ministry will be undertaken by the its current undersecretary Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Adam.
Other sources expected that the Minister of the Engineering Affairs in province of Khartoum, Dr. Sharaf Al Din Bakana, will be responsible for a new ministry of construction.
