Moroccon-Tunisian Free Trade Zone by 2005
Morocco-Tunisia, Economics, 11/11/1997
Discussions are underway between Morocco and Tunisia to set up a free trade zone between the two countries by the year 2005 so that it precedes the free trade zone between the two countries on the one hand and the European Union on the other in the year 2010.
Experts from the two countries are studying ways of expanding the lists attached to the Trade and Customs Agreement which had been signed by the two countries in 1996. They are also studying the practical application of the free trade zone and the preparations for holding media festivals in both countries.
