Developments concerning the Bekaa issue

After new demonstrations in the Hermel area yesterday, the Bekaa issue will be discussed during the cabinet's meeting tomorrow, according to governmental sources. Al-Nahar newspaper stated that the cabinet will make a final decision concerning both security and developmental measures in the area.
Meanwhile, supporters of Sheikh Sobhi Toufeili gathered in Brital and the Riyak-Baalbek road, yesterday, but didn't stand in the way of the MPs who visited the area. They were surrounded by army and security forces.
Elsewhere, Transportation Minister Omar Miskawi said during a press conference that the government should take measures against Toufeili. He added that hunger and insufficiency are not limited to the Hermel, and destroying the system is not a solution.
