Tunisia and Israel duke it out over fruits

The director of the Tunisian Dates Complex Al Habib Aziz said that the high quality of the Tunisian dates led some of the European exporting companies to defame the Tunisian dates.
He commented that an Israeli company specializing in producing and marketing grains and fruits to France began a fierce campaign against the Tunisian dates after the latter proved its high quality in the French market.
Aziz said that the Israeli company tried to spread malicious rumors about the quality of the Tunisian and Algerian dates because the Israeli company produces the same type of dates but of lesser quality.
