A solution to the Hermel problem

Speaker Nabih Berri is about to solve the political problem that have plagued Lebanon in the Hermel area, after negotiations with breakaway Sheikh Sobhi Toufeili's representative yesterday. Berri promised Sheikh Khudr Tleiss to spend the 150 million L.L. allocated for the impoverished areas, namely Akkar and Hermel.
In exchange, Toufeili is supposed to back off from his announcement forbidding ministers and deputies from visiting Bekaa. Berri's sources said that the coming hours will provide a definite solution that preserves the Bekaa's rights as well as the MPs' dignity. Discussions will remain open and the hunger revolution's council is expected to issue a positive statement concerning the issue.
