Libya: efforts to promote tourist sector

Libyan Minister of Tourism Gawdat Al Bukhary stated that Libya is trying to promote the tourist travel to Libya in spite of the embargo imposed on it, which has been a great burden on the Libyan economy since 1992.
Bukhary added that Libya had reached an agreement with the International Organization of Tourism through a British advisory office to hold studies on means of utilizing the Libyan tourist attractions in the best way.
