1000 international companies attend Saudi Construction Exhibition

The activities of the Saudi Construction Exhibition '97 started today. The exhibition was initiated by the Emir of Riyadh Abdel Aziz Al Ayan last year in which 500 companies participated, 170 companies of which were Saudi companies. 700 companies are participating in this year's exhibition.

International companies and factories from the UAE, Kuwait, Egypt, Tunisia, Lebanon, Sweden, the USA, Portugal, Cyprus, the Netherlands, France, UK, Turkey, Denmark, Finland, Spain, Holland, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and China will participate in this year's exhibition, organized by the Riyadh Exhibition Company.

The variety of companies and their increased number reflect Saudi optimism for an increase in the contracting process in the coming years.

There is a new tendency in the Saudi market toward caring for environment, as most of the participating companies have materials and machines for the use of protecting the environment.
