The head of the Israeli Industries Union, Dan Broyer, is in Egypt to hold discussions with Egyptian officials. He is expected to hold discussions with the Egyptian Industries Union focusing on increasing the joint cooperation and setting up new projects between Israel and Egypt.

The volume of the Egyptian-Israeli trade exchange increased greatly during the first half of the current year as it reached L.E. 578 million ($170 million). Egyptian exports to Israel are worth L.E. 647 million with a 119% increase over last year.

An Egyptian economic source said that the director of the Israeli Industries Union will deliver an invitation to his Egyptian counterpart Dr. Abdel Moneim Saudi to visit Israel in order to increase the cooperation between the two countries.
