Arab music festival starts tomorrow

The 6th Arab Music Festival will start tomorrow and will last for ten days, 19 countries will participate in it; Lebanon, Sudan, Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, Kuwait, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Turkey, Palestine, Auzbakistan, Oman, France, Canada, Germany, and UK.
The director of the Opera House, Naser Al Ensari, said that the festival will honor the pioneer of the music education Dr. Buthayna Farid and the singers Ragaa Abdou and Schehrazad, together with the musical historian Abdel Aziz Anani. The Festival will also honor 4 pioneering musicians; Hasan Anwar, Mohamed Al Arabi, Mahmoud Hamouda and Zein Al Ashkar.
For the first time, the festival will present musical intervals from the old works of the best music composers like Mohamed Al Kasabgy, Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Mohamed Al Mogy, Farid Al Atrash, Baligh Hamdy, Zakarya Ahmed, Kamal al Taweel, and Mohamed Fawzy.
25 singers will participate with their songs; Madga Al Romi, Sonia Mubarak, Hayat Al Idris, Elias Karam, Sabah Fakhry, Zekra, Medhat Saleh, Ahmed Ibrahim, Hany Shaker, Ghada Ragab, Nadia Moustafa, Gehan Murad, Mohamed Attar, Mohamed Al Gebaly, Ahmed Al Horeiby, Nor Al Din Al Bagy, Yorhan Mutama, Moustafa Dahla, Fouad Al Zabady, Iman Baki, Amgad Al Atani, Gehan Al Maghawry, Mohsen Farouk, Said Osman, and Khaled Abdel Ghafar.
