Officials in charge of the foreign media in the Gulf Cooperation Council start their third meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 30. Kuwait and Croatia on October 29 signed an agreement to organize air transportation between the two countries, a statement issued by the public administration for civil aviation said. The agreement comes as a result of talks between representatives of the Kuwaiti administration and visiting Croatian counterparts. Go

Prime Minister Rafik Hariri visited American AUB president John Waterby in his residence at the American University of Beirut, yesterday at noon, after the explosion on the campus. Hariri condemned the incident, describing it as a cowardly act. He said his visit was meant to reassure the president and show support for him. Waterby said that the explosion will not affect his plans nor those of the university. He is going back to the US tomorrow, as already previewed, to come back in January for good. Go
