King Hassan II to visit Cairo
Morocco-Egypt, Politics, 10/29/1997

Moroccan sources confirmed that the Moroccan Monarch King Hassan II will visit Cairo next December to join Egypt's President Mubarak in heading the meetings of the joint committee of the two countries. During these meetings a number of cooperation agreements in the field of investment and trade will be signed.

The two leaders will also discuss the recent developments of the peace process and the possibility that the Jerusalem Committee could hold a meeting to stop the Israeli attempts to change its features.

President Mubarak's Political Advisor, Osama El Baz, said that the two countries' relations are excellent and are characterized with consolidation and cooperation. He expected that these relations will improve more as a result of the King's visit. He confirmed that there is full cooperation between the two countries regarding the Arab, regional and international issues especially those in the Middle East.
