Morocco won't attend Doha conference
Morocco, Politics, 10/29/1997
Morocco decided not to attend the Doha economic conference for the Middle East and North Africa, due to be held in Qatar on November 16, political and diplomatic sources in Rabat said.
The sources stressed on October 28 that Morocco's decision to boycott the conference is a clear response to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's anti-peace policy in the Middle East, and his rejection of the international community's calls and Madrid's terms of reference which call for the land-for-just and comprehensive peace principle.
