Kuwaiti seminar held on petroleum manpower

A two-day seminar on performance of technical manpower in the petroleum sector was held on October 27 with participation of the American Petroleum Institute and Kuwaiti petroleum and chemical companies.
The general Director of the public authority for applied education and training, Hamoud al Mudaf, underlined in an opening lecture importance of finding means to reinforce the role of petroleum and training sectors in Kuwait.
The authority is facing major challenges which can be summarized in two main points, the rapid technological developments which are directly related to the Kuwaiti economy and the need to restructure the supply of human resources in a way convenient to meet market demands.
