New natural gas fuel station in Suez

Dr. Hamdi El Banbi, minister of petroleum, and Dr. Nadia Makram Ebied, minister of environmental affairs, will open the most recent station for transforming car fuel system from petrol into natural gas Saturday. The first of its kind in Suez, the station will offer integrated services, including a computer-operated fueling station and a center to modify cars to the natural gas fueling system.
The center will be able to transform six cars per day. Comprehensive maintenance services will also be offered at the new station.
Engineer Sherif Hashim, chairman of the Gastech company which has set up the new station, is part of the persistent efforts exerted by the electricity sector to protect the environment, Al Gomhoria daily said today October 28.
