Suha Arafat speaks out for Palestinain children's rights

Palestinian First Lady Suha Arafat charged Israel with using violence against Palestinian children and called for more effective action by the Palestinians to check if Palestinian children's rights are being honored.

Speaking at a special working day on Palestinian children in Gaza organized by "Save the Children," Mrs. Arafat said once a family's father becomes a victim of Israeli soldiers violence, his wife and children are very likely to become the output for his inner violence that breaks out in retaliation for what he has gone through.

She said that the UN resolutions for the protection of children and against child abuse are not implemented when it comes to Palestinian children, and therefore, "We find that Palestinian children are not mentioned in the children's right map of this universe."
