Electrified border between Iraq and Kuwait

Kuwait has electrified most of its barbed wire along the border strip with Iraq to prevent infiltrations, an Kuwaiti official said yesterday according to an Al Aalam Al Youm report.
"More than 94 miles of border barbed wire has been electrified. This a measure to stop infiltration," Kuwait Interior Ministry spokesman Colonel Badr Saleh said. "The rest will be electrified soon. We can monitor every movement on the border" he added.
