Better civil aviation guidelines and tourism
Regional, Economics, 10/24/1997

The council of Arab transport ministers, which concluded its 13th session in Cairo on October 22, agreed on a project for transportation among Arab countries.

The project aims at boosting economic and social cooperation and removing obstacles facing land transportation and encouraging tourism among the Arab countries. The council called on members of Arab countries for civil aviation to honor their financial obligations.

The council entrusted a working team grouping Kuwait, Egypt and Saudi Arabia with examining problems delaying the issuance of unified Arab traffic guidelines. The council agreed to publish the guidelines last year.
