Religious leaders unite for bishop's funeral

Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Dr. Mohamed Sayed Tantawi, Mufti of the republic Dr. Nasr Wasel, and Al Azhar University's Dean Dr. Ahmed Omar Hashem, headed mourners taking part in a funeral procession for Bishop Samuel Habib, head of the Egyptian Anglican Church who died in the US ten days ago. The mourners also included the hierarchy of the Catholic Church in Egypt. Rosal Youssef weekly magazine said today October 23.
