Kuwait praises Egyptian writer

Kuwaiti deputy prime minister and foreign minister Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah described the late Egyptian writer Ahamd Bahaa Al Din as one of the Arab world's distinguished men.
Sheikh Sabah, whose remarks were made on his behalf by Abdul Mohsen Qattan, a Kuwaiti intellectual, said Kuwait appreciated Al Din when he was the chief editor of the Kuwait-based Al Arabi magazine.
Al Din stopped writing after entering a coma in 1990 until he passed away last year. Al Din traveled to Kuwait in 1976 where he headed Al Arabi magazine.
