Hizbullah in no hurry to swap Israeli remains for detainees
Lebanon, Politics, 10/22/1997

Hizbullah deputy Mohammed Raeed on October 21 claimed that the group was not in a hurry to exchange prisoners detained in Israeli jails for the remains of Israeli soldiers killed two months ago during a raid on Ansariyeh in south Lebanon.

Raeed was speaking to a delegation from Arnoun in south Lebanon, which was complaining about the kidnapping of six residents by Israel two weeks ago

Raeed said, "We're not in a hurry to achieve the prisoner swap with the Jewish state in exchange for the remains of the Israeli soldiers killed in the bumbled Ansariyeh raid two months ago. We're prepared to wait until the Israeli enemy is ready to give us the price we want."

He urged the Arnoun delegation to be patient because, "Your cause is a just one and time is on your side. Your cause is ours and we'll feel any harm that will happen to you because you and Hizbullah are one and the same body."
