Nuha's exhibition

Syrian woman artist Nuha Al Khatib recently held an exhibition in Hama city in which she displayed 70 works embossed on glass. The exhibits varied among Chinese and Egyptian decorations as well as different types of Arabic calligraphy.
The Chinese works include old Chinese houses and women wearing Chinese popular costumes while in the Egyptian pavilion, the exhibits reflected the Pharaohs' antiquities and other aspects of the ancient Egyptian civilization.
Other exhibits concentrated on oriental decoration, shedding light on the splendor and magnificence of the East.
Many of exhibits were dedicated to Arabic calligraphy where different types of Arabic script, including the Kufi-Al Thuluth and al Diwani, were displayed through verses from the holy Koran.
