Egypt to support Bosnia peace act

Fathy El Shazli, Egypt's assistant foreign affairs minister for European affairs reiterated yesterday Egypt's support for the Bosnian peace deal.
The assistant minister, who was leading an Egyptian delegation on a two-day Bosnia visit, told a press confrence in Sarajevo that the delegation's visit mainly aimed at opening new fields for Egyptian-Bosnian economic and trade cooperation.
He also added that although establishment of diplomatic relations between Bosnia and Israel was a matter concerning the two states, Arab public opinion was questioning the timing of the move.
These ties were established in a time when the Middle East peace process has reached its lowest point due to the current policies of the Israeli government, he said, Al Ahrar daily said today.
