Egypt's views unchanged on MENA despite US statement

The official spokesman of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry stated that what was said by a US official regarding Egypt's agreement to participate in the Middle East-North Africa (MENA) economic conference which is due to be held in Qatar next month is baseless and untrue.
In a press statement, the spokesman declared that Egypt's stance is the same as before which is based on the fact that its participation in the conference depends on the change of the Israeli policies toward the peace process.
The spokesman added that Egypt's decision regarding the participation will be declared at the right time before holding the conference.
