Gulf thunderstorm

An unexpected Thunderstorm rumbled through Dubai and Sharjah early this morning. No one was seriously injured or killed, according to a Gulf News report, but the storm was the worst in the area in years. High winds and heavy rains left extensive damage in the affected areas, knocking down trees and interfering with television reception, the Khaleej Times said.
