The US yesterday petitioned the International Court of Justice to throw out a Libyan request for lifting of UN Security Council sanctions related to the Lockerbie case, Fox News reported. The US and Britian seek the extradition of two Libyan men suspected in the 1988 bombing of a Pan Am jet over Scotland.
