55 Egyptian survivors of ship blaze back home

A total of 55 Egyptian crewmen yesterday returned home after having survived a blaze on a Cypriot liner. The returnees said all 500 passengers on board and the 183-strong crew escaped death by a hair's breadth, as fire erupted when the ship's chimney exploded, Al Wafd daily said today October 14.
