Syrian-Jordanian committee meets

The joint Syrian-Jordanian committee on water continued its meeting in Amman on October 12 within the framework of reactivating the signed agreement between both countries concerning Yarmouk river use.
The committee discussed means of promoting work progress procedures at the Wihad dam, and cooperation to protect the surface and underground water sources at the Yarmouk river basin.
The minutes of the committee meeting will be signed on October 13 and followed by a news conference about the results.
