Arakis's oil company to be target for his military operation

Dr. Gohn Garang, the Sudan People's Liberation Army leader (SPLA) reaffirmed that the IGAD initiative will be the sole framework for any peace agreement.
In an interview with the London-based New African Magazine, Garang attacked the Canadian company "Arakis" for signing a contract with Khartoum government to transport crude oil from Pantio in southern Sudan, to Port Sudan sea-port. He threatened that the company will be a target for his military operation if it does not withdraw from the contract with to block the oil operation in the south.
