Tunisia and Egypt discuss investment opportunities

The Egyptian Tunisian Businessmen Council discussed the investment opportunities existing in the two countries during its meetings that ended today after four days of discussions.
More than 50 Tunisian and Egyptian businessmen representing the private sector and the trade and industrial unions in the two countries participated in the meetings.
Bilateral meetings were held to sign trade transactions. The volume of trade between the two countries during the first half of the year is estimated at $45 million, the Egyptian exports to Tunisia are worth $ 30 million and the Egyptian imports from Tunisia are worth $15 million. The Egyptian trade balance with Tunisia achieved a $15 million surplus.
