Egypt, Ethiopian mediation in Somali problem

Ethiopia and Egypt agreed yesterday to intensify their joint efforts to help warring Somali factions reach a peaceful settlement to the crisis which divides the African country.
Marawan Badr, Egypt's new envoy in Addis Ababa, met the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry undersecretary in current efforts to achieve national reconciliation among Somali warlords, al Hatay Al Mesria weekly said today.
