Israel violates April Understanding

Israeli troops violated the "April Understanding" agreement which bans launching military attacks on civilians or on densely populated areas. Lebanese security sources said Majdal Solom town in the central sector in South Lebanon came under Israeli shelling with projectile-filled bombs from Houla and Mashaaroun.
Shelling with internationally banned weapons expanded to cover the towns of Al Sawaneh and Barashit, the sources said, noting that over 60 bombs were fired.
Israeli jets carried out intensive fake raids at low altitude over the central and western sectors, al Nabatiyeh area and al Tuffah district up to the Lebanese capital, breaking the sound barrier.
