GCC to take part in Chinese cultural event

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will participate in the first cultural week in Beijing between October 13-17, and display information about economies and civilian life in the Gulf and the historic relation between the Gulf states and China.
During the week, Dr., Ali Ghabban of Saudi Arabia will lecture on the "Sea silk road and the history of trade relations between the Arab Peninsula and China," a statement by the GCC secretariat said on October 7.
A lecture on "Economic relations between the Arabian Gulf and China" will be addressed by Amer Theyab al Tamimi from Kuwait, the statement said.
