Kuwaiti emir sends invitations to heads of state for Gulf summit

The Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Gaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah will send invitations to the Gulf kings and heads of state to attend the Summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries due to be held for two days, starting on December 7.

Kuwaiti Minister of Information Saud Al Sabah will head the Kuwaiti delegation which will visit the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to meet with their officials and to deliver invitations to the summit. The first invitation will be delivered to King Fahd of Saudi Arabia. The delegation will then head to the UAE to deliver Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan his invitation, Sultan Qaboos Bin Said of Oman, the Emir of Bahrain Sheikh Khalifa, then to Qatar to deliver the invitation to Sheikh Mohamed Bin Khalifa.

This summit will be the 18th overall and the 3rd to be held in Kuwait since its liberation in 1991.
