The troika meets today

A conference that will bring the three Lebanese leaders together is scheduled for today, in the morning, at the presidential palace in Baabda. President Elias Hrawi, Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and speaker Nabih Berri will meet to discuss the 1998 budget project before its draft is examined by the parliament during the general assembly that will take place, according to the sources, on the 13th of this month.
Today's meeting is expected to change the atmosphere of discord between the parliament and the prime minister, affecting the fate of the 1998 budget. The troika will also have a business lunch, in the presidential palace, after the session.
