US businessmen urged to invest in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia, Economics, 10/8/1997
Abdul Aziz al Quraishi, president of the Saudi-American business council (SABC), highlighted the investment opportunities and incentives in Saudi Arabia and called upon American businessmen to invest in the kingdom.
Al Quraishi underlined Saudi Arabia's achievements in infrastructure projects such as roads, airports, seaports and desalination plants as well as its efforts to realize the development goals in education, health and social sectors.
He hailed growing Saudi-American relations, which started about 60 years ago when American companies started participating in oil excavations in Saudi Arabia.
Al Quraishi referred to Saudi Arabia's efforts to win a seat in the World Trade Organization, upgrade its economic systems, relax investment and customs regulations and develop its financial market.
