GCC industrial license chiefs meet in Doha

GCC officials in charge of issuing licenses for industrial projects started the seventh meeting of their committee in Doha today. The opening session this morning was addressed by assistant undersecretary of the Qatari Ministry of Energy and Industry who stressed that the aim of GCC committees and sub-committees in the industrial field was achieving integration among GCC members.
The committee coordinates and encourages projects whose capital is more than 20 million Saudi Riyals or an equivalent amount. Its recommendations and resolutions are issued to match the necessary requirements for coordinating and encouraging major industrial projects in Gulf States.
