Egypt to celebrate king Tut's 75th anniversary

Marking the 75th anniversary for discovery of King Tutankhamen's tomb, the Antiquities Department in Egypt has arranged a nationwide celebration based in Luxor. Among the items on the program will be the opening of the Carter Museum on October 12th.
Carter excavated King Tut's tomb in 1922, and his museum in Luxor consists of a living room, two bedrooms and old fashioned lab. The house has a water reservoir that is more than 100-years old, Al Ahrar daily said today October 7.
