Baker kills girlfriend

Egypt police pressed a premeditated murder charge against a baker accused of strangling his girlfriend to death and throwing her body into a ditch after stealing her jewelry.
A police chief source said the probe into the killing of a 20-year-old divorced woman named Mirvat Abdul Malak, whose body was found ten days ago revealed that she was murdered by her next door neighbor, with whom she had an illicit affair for the past six months.
Investigations found that Ahmed Moussa was behind Mirvat's death, following a heated argument over her repeated demands for marriage, Al Akhbar daily said Friday.
